There are a lot of them, they were built one at a time, and they do not all go together. So here is the plain version: what each one does, what it replaces, what it works with, and what it costs. If you only read one thing, read the map.
My Studio Books is the centre. Everything below it plugs in. Everything beside it stands alone.
The business end. If you are starting from nothing, start at the top of this list.
Your CRM. Clients, bookings, a public booking page with your own link, mini sessions with held slots, contracts your client signs online, invoices and card payments, galleries, questionnaires, workflows and a client portal. This is the one everything else hangs off.
Visit the site →For selling in person. A reveal slideshow, room view so your client sees the print on her own wall, then it builds the order and the invoice and gives you a lab-ready export. This is how you sell prints to someone sitting with you, or on a shared screen.
Visit the site →Phone albums for your clients. You make the album, she installs it on her home screen like an app. Each one stays online a year and you can renew it. Lovely as a gift, a package inclusion, or something you sell on its own.
Visit the site →Sorts and culls your photographs on your own computer. Picks the best of a burst, sets aside screenshots and junk, and exports print-ready folders by year. Works on a hard drive full of a decade of mess, not just this week's session.
Visit the site →Nothing here touches your bookings. These are for what you post and what you hand a client.
Around twenty browser studios for making things — composites, snow globes, birth posters, ultrasound overlays, wall-art previews, announcements, mini books, client guides, carousels. No Photoshop, no subscription, nothing to install.
Visit the site →A video editor that runs in your browser on a computer, not a phone. Captions generated inside the tool, trimming, cutting dead space, b-roll, zoom punches, music, fonts and colour. Built because editing on a phone in busy season is not realistic.
Get it in Studio Social →For when you want to be the content creator yourself — your own channel, or UGC work for brands. Posts, reel covers, stories, carousels and TikToks, a faceless mode that turns a batch of photos into captioned posts, AI post ideas and captions, and a builder for PDF products you can sell. The 7-day Become a Content Creator course comes with every plan.
Visit the site →This is the one people are most often surprised by, so it is worth being blunt: a website is not part of My Studio Books. My Studio Books is a CRM. Here are the two ways to get a site.
I build it for you. Hand-coded, fast, editorial, and yours to edit — no template. Your booking pages and forms are wired in while I am in there.
See the website packages →You build it yourself, with me teaching you how. You end up owning the thing and being able to change it at midnight without asking anyone.
Visit the site →Small, bolt-on, and each one sold separately.
A scripted Santa chat for children, on your own branded page, with your Santa photos, your session dates and booking links, a toy drive and a Santa tracker. Chatting to Santa first is how a nervous three-year-old stops being frightened of him on the day.
Visit the site →Your client registers, picks the session or package she wants, and shares a private page. Friends and family pay toward it or buy the whole thing. Installed on your own site and your own payment accounts.
See the registry add-on →Model and photographer matching, international, time-for-print. Models join free and their details stay private; you see anonymous matches and I introduce both sides by email myself.
Visit the site →A directory of photographers I have trained, mentored or certified, for parents looking for someone near them. You keep your own profile up to date yourself.
Visit the site →Same idea, built for other people and other businesses. Listed here so you know they exist — and so you know they are not something you are missing out on as a photographer.
Bills and payoff planning, personal and business expenses, and a grants area to find, track and write applications. For anyone, not just photographers.
Visit the site →Studio Social, rebuilt for estate agents — headshots, listings, business cards, flyers, postcards.
Visit the site →A design studio for children — posters, stickers, comics, colouring pages, books. Built after a kids camp where Canva made every child sign up for Pro.
Visit the site →The honest version. Some of these replace a subscription completely. Some only replace part of one, and I have said which.
| If you have | You can probably stop paying for | Honestly |
|---|---|---|
| Studio Social | Canva Pro | Fully, for the kind of thing photographers actually make. |
| Cut Studio | CapCut, Instagram Edits | Fully, if you edit on a computer. It does not run on a phone. |
| My Studio Sales | ProSelect, Fundy | Fully for in-person sales and ordering. |
| My Studio Books | 17hats, HoneyBook, Dubsado, Sprout, Táve | Fully for the CRM. It is not a website and not a print shop. |
| The Image System | Photo Mechanic | Fully for culling and sorting. You will still edit somewhere. |
| The Little Album | Sticky Albums | Fully, and your client installs it on her home screen the same way. |
A website is not included in My Studio Books. It is a CRM and I want to keep it true to what it is. Websites are a separate thing, built by me or by you.
My Studio Books does not have a shop where your client logs in and orders prints herself. My Studio Sales is how you sell prints to her — face to face or on a shared screen. Those are two different things and I do not want to blur them.
They are separate programs, not one bundle. The CRM is its own beast. The others were built later, one at a time, because people asked. Some connect to it. None of them are inside it.
There is no trial. Not because I am being difficult, but because people trial a thing, change their mind, and it becomes a mess for everyone.
Launch prices on the programs do not come back. Every program here started lower and has gone up, and it will keep going that way, because the people who got in early have to be honoured. There is no Black Friday price that will beat what is on this page today. A service like a website build, or a seasonal tool like A Little Holiday Magic, is a different thing and can come back on offer — the programs do not.
